Fenmei Packaging acquires Alternapak Italian factory

On August 17, 2022, Fenmei Packaging announced that it had signed an agreement with Alternapak to acquire its production workshop and equipment in San Pietro, Veneto, Italy. The Alternapak Italian factory has actively provided sterile carton packaging to liquid food industry manufacturers in Europe, the Middle East and America, but it was discontinued in early 2022. Through this acquisition, Alternapak Italian factory has become the fifth factory in Fonmei Packaging in the world and is expected to be put into production by the end of 2022. This is another milestone in Fenmei Packaging’s global strategy.

Victor Lee, Business Director of Fenmei Packaging International, said: "This acquisition confirms our commitment to international business expansion and strengthens our penetration of new and old customers. It is easier for us to reach close cooperation with customers in the region. It will also help us further improve our supply chain guarantee capabilities and our service level will be further improved. This will consolidate and strengthen Fenmei's partnership with liquid dairy and non-carbonated soft drink manufacturers. We are a trusted and relied on partners for our customers. I am very much looking forward to and welcome the Italian team to join the Fenmei family."

In addition to the Fonmei German Harley factory, Fonmei now has a second production factory in Europe. This will greatly improve the production capacity of Fonmei Packaging in Europe.

In order to achieve the goal of the Italian factory resuming production by the end of 2022, in the next few months, the Fenmei Association will focus on integrating the Italian factory into Fenmei's international production layout.
